Welcome to our Basketball Without Borders site.

Without a doubt, basketball is the greatest sport ever in the history of mankind. But the sad truth is, it is keen to many stereotypes.
What are some stereotypes about basketball?
- Only black people play basketball
- Asians suck at basketball
- White people can’t jump
These are only a few.
We want to focus on the ballers that are underrated or unknown compared to what they deserve. We want to discover the hidden jewels and tell the world about them.
How many of you knew that there are over 5 Asian basketball players that play in a NCAA division one team? How many of you knew that there are over 100 basketball leagues over the world other than the NBA?
Amazingly, these players are very good basketball players. We will be presenting information about these players and also have exclusive interviews with these players about their basketball life. So if you want to listen to these original, never done before interviews with ballers from around the world….
Keep checking !

Sports have always been a wonderful place to break down stereotypes and prejudice.
I think today of someone like Ichiro, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ichiro_Suzuki , or better yet Jackie Robinson, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackie_Robinson , and I see amazing people being admired for their love and talent of their game, with racial differences put aside.
Closer to home for B-Ball we have these two men: http://espn.go.com/page2/s/whitlock/030501.html No titles won, but true champions none-the-less.
I hope that Basketball without Borders will help tear a few more walls down!
Very cool site. This has tons of potential, with basketball being such an international sport these days. I was in Peru last summer and it was amazing how many people are into b-ball in that soccer-crazed country. It just keeps growing.
Went to a basketball uni (Villanova). Love the game.
Curious to see what happens in the Olympics this year.
Keep having fun with this.

Thank you for visiting. I agree, sports is a great place to crush those stereotypes. And on the basketball court, we’re all same. NBA has grown very international, and I hope to see some more Asian players on the court! Hopefully this site will encourage more players.
@Bill farren
Thank you for visiting. Basketball has grown so much. It is getting bigger and bigger in Asia as well. Chinese people are playing basketball instead of playing ping-pong right now. And USA is not winning the Olympics anymore. That shows how much basketball is spread all over the world. I’m also curious what will happen in the Olympics as well.
